Sunwing is offering local residents of Sept-Îles even more options for their winter escape this coming season. As well as bringing back its popular flight service to Cancun, Mexico the travel company will also be introducing a new weekly flight service to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. This will be the first season that the travel company has offered vacationers in the region two different destinations from their local airport. Sunwing is expected to be the only carrier offering sunshine flights from Sept-Îles this coming winter. Both flight services will be available between December 12, 2018 and April 10, 2019.

In Punta Cana, travellers can look forward to lazy days on the beach or get active with an array of Sunwing Experiences ranging from ziplining and jeep safaris to snuba diving. Set on Mexico’s Caribbean coast Cancun has something for every traveller from pirate adventures and live shows at Coco Bongo, to world-class golfing and access to legendary ancient Mayan ruins.

Executive Vice President of Sunwing Travel Group Quebec, Sam Char, welcomed the news.  “Sunwing is proud to be the only leisure carrier to offer vacation packages directly from Sept-Îles.
